Roos Tor |
My 2017 Birthday Walk, taking in tors around Pork Hill. Enjoyable, with 5 new bags; Cox Tor, Roos Tor, Great Staple Tor, Middle Staple Tor and Little Staple Tor. I really would like to revisit this area to have a closer look at a couple of tors I missed. And I did,
HERE.
So, first up was Cox Tor, a rather spread out non-granite tor whose views are stupendous from the trig point. Accessing from the south is straightforward enough, and many others were doing the same route it seemed.

Great Staple Tor was next, consisting of two major sections of granite, so an avenue tor.
