Dartmoor: Ten Tors Training Walk 2 - Postbridge To Four Winds (13 miles)

Braddon Tor

My second training walk and by far my least favourite! Mostly because of the weather; dangerous river crossings, little to no visibility, and that I fell in a river and had little to eat. Oh my was I and the team happy to end it just past Little Mis Tor. Such memories from falling in the Blackbrook River, SX 57610 76846.

Braddon Tor

Tors bagged include Braddon Lake Rocks, Braddon Tor, Rough Tor (West Dart), Little Lydford Tor (a suggested name by me) and Little Mis Tor. Close bags were Broad Down, Devil's Tor, South Devil's Tor, Lydford Tor and Beardown Tors.

Little Lydford Tor - but it's not on the map!!

Beardown Tors

Easily one of the most memorable walks for me and for all the wrong reasons: suffering, drowning (almost), starvation and dire weather!
