Continuing my walk from Part 1, I checked Dartefacts to see if there was anything else up on Whitehorse Hill to visit before I began my descent, and yes, there was: Moute's Inn at SX 61780 85266. I made a beeline for the tinners' hut or something similar.

The first thing you may be thinking is, "Max, why on earth have you focused a post, a walk even on an item that isn't an outcrop?" Hmm... and my answer to that is very simple: this place is remote, appealing and historical. Oh, what's happened to me?

Well this was different! It's amazing how it only takes one person and then a Facebook Group to convince me enough to visit somewhere else other than Dartmoor. And it got me thinking, how about I try and bag every tor on Bodmin Moor - because there are less than 100 - and I'm well over halfway into bagging all of Dartmoor's? It just so happens that this walk was the start of an additional challenge.

I don't visit this area enough. When looking at my tor bagging progress map, I noticed a significant area of orange, or red, meaning unbagged. I wanted to remedy that with a walkout of Meldon Reservoir... with a small diversion.
